Thomasville Heights Boys and Girls Club

    1835 Henry Thomas Dr., S.E. | Atlanta, GA 30315

Get the year of service started off right! At our annual meal-packing for kids event, you can expect our usual level of over-the-top volunteerism: a DJ, lunch, prizes, and special surprises.

We’ll be hosting a “Civic Breakfast” – so come hungry and ready to dive deep into the issues facing Atlanta! Your voice matters and we want to hear it. We’ll be working hard and playing hard, with students from all across Atlanta!

We’ll also be announcing our 2018-2019 Board Members – the YU leaders.

Oh, and we’ll be packing hundreds of meals for kids in need in Atlanta, too.

Artz for the Harp

We are a nonprofit public benefit organization that provides harps for lessons, and group harp music enrichment and music therapy sessions to students of all ages.  I am writing you to see if you have students who need volunteer hours and would like to partner up with us on one of our upcoming events.

Artz for the Harp is honored to be the highlighted charity for The Color Run Atlanta.  The race takes place on September 23rd. However we are looking for volunteers to help with the check-in on the 22nd  or during the actual race day on the 23rd.  Students must be 15yrs or older to participate in this event.  The Color run will take place at Six Flags!   Students who volunteer on Saturday during the afternoon slots will gain free registration for the race and a t-shirt.  Students who volunteer on Sunday will still receive a free t-shirt but will not have free registration.  Family members who would like to participate in the race will receive $5.00 off registration code! Another fun detail is that, on race day participants will have the option of 50% off six flags tickets if they choose to stay and play.

Students who participate will receive letters of completion for the hours volunteered that weekend as well as a certificate for participating with Artz for the Harp.

We believe this will be a fun experience for everyone, while also helping us reach our mission, and helping your students gain volunteer hours, with hands on learning experience! If you need more information please feel free to contact.

Mentors available for Walton students

Through the Walton Career Coach program, students can sign up to be matched with up to 3 professionals of their choice. Students can choose Coaches whose career fields are best suited to their interests and career goals.
